Update v0.9.0: Character Creator

You can now support this project on Patreon! This project is an absolute joy to work on, and it will continue regardless of Patreon support. But, I have been working on it full-time for a number of months now, while living off my savings. That isn't much of an issue, but if I don't make money, I will have to get a job again eventually, or starve~ Dead developers don't produce much game content, neither do people who have to work a 40-hour job. On the update schedule: Eventually, early builds will be available to patrons two months in advance. However, it would suck to have a sudden long drop in public releases, so for the time being, 1 public build will be released for every 2 Patreon builds. That means the public builds will be released once every two weeks. There will also be a monthly poll for patrons, where patrons can vote on prompts to be added to the game next month.

Back to this week's patch: After spending way too much time drawing, it is finally done, we have a character creator/portrait thingymejigg now! Your player character will now be displayed on the left side of the screen, equipment and all. I also made various tweaks to the prologue to make it play nice with the new features that have been added in the last few months. With this, the core features of Rogschard's engine are now complete. There are some side systems still to be added (like pregnancy), but all the fundamental stuff is now done. From here on out, the content grind will truly begin.
